I served 12 years in the Marine Corps, then 25 years as a Jacksonville Police Officer, and now as a State of Florida Investigator. Decades of service came with a cost — chronic back, hip, neck, and knee pain I’ve carried since the mid-1980s.

That pain affected everything. Daily activities became difficult, my mobility was restricted, and I couldn’t perform even the simplest tasks without discomfort. Over time, it wasn’t just physical — it took an emotional and family toll as well.

When I came to Heroes Health Alliance, I finally found care that was different. The approach was specific and targeted, not just masking symptoms but addressing the root causes of my pain. For the first time in decades, I’ve experienced meaningful relief. Even those moments when the pain lessens — even briefly — make a huge difference in my quality of life.

This program provides something I never got from medications: hope. After more than 40 years of living with pain, HHA has given me a path forward and the possibility of real healing.
